Overview

If your child is being targeted by a persistent bully and you haven't been able to remedy the situation, then you may qualify for the Gracie Bullyproof Scholarship Program.

Since the inception of the Gracie Bullyproof program, tens of thousands of children have been "bullyproofed" from the inside out. The children are taught how to neutralize bullies with words and how to stay safe if they are physically attacked. Most importantly, it's all accomplished without throwing one punch or kick. Gracie Bullyproof is non-violent, and it works!

For many years, the Gracie Bullyproof program was only taught at the Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Academy and its Certified Training Centers around the world. Then, we realized that we could help far more children if we created a home-based version of the program. In early 2010, we produced the fully-comprehensive Gracie Bullyproof instructional series and released it on DVD and in online streaming video format at GracieKids.com. The result has been nothing short of phenomenal. Designed to teach parents how to teach their children, this video-based program has given parents everywhere access to the exact step-by-step child-teaching system that the Gracies have used to instill confidence in their young for three generations. Now, parents with absolutely no previous martial arts experience, have a fun activity they can use to bond with their children and a road map they can follow to "bullyproof" them from home.

This Scholarship Program is sponsored in full by the Gracie Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that is dedicated to making the Gracie Bullyproof program available to underprivileged families. Thanks to the generous donations from individuals and corporations all over the world, we have been able to help countless children overcome the torment of ruthless bullies.

Requirements

If your child has a history of being bullied, and you cannot afford the program at this time, you may be eligible for a partial or full Gracie Bullyproof Scholarship. Provided you meet the qualification requirements and we have the sponsorship funds available at the time, we will send you the Gracie Bullyproof DVD collection, or give you online access, for free or at a fraction of the normal cost. The bottom line is: you may not be able to afford the program, but your child can’t afford not to be “bullyproof.”

Here are a few of the key requirements you must meet in order to be considered for a Gracie Bullyproof Scholarship:

  • Family Commitment: The Gracie Bullyproof DVD/online program is a fully-comprehensive at-home instructional video series designed to teach you, the parent/guardian, how to teach your child. In order for the program to be successful, you must bust be willing to commit at least 1-2 hours per week to watching the lesson and practicing them with your child.
  • Progress Tracking: Since total transformation is the primary objective of the Gracie Bullyproof program, we require that all sponsorship recipients keep track of the progress made throughout the program. If you qualify for the sponsorship, we ask that every three months, you submit to a progress report detailing any changes in confidence, academic performance, social behaviors, etc. since the start of the program.
  • Pay it Forward: The Gracie Bullyproof Scholarships are made possible by the donations of generous people around the world. In order to maximize the impact of their donations, we would like to know that scholarship recipients will “pay it forward” once they complete the Gracie Bullyproof program. Once your child is “bullyproof,” we ask that you make it a priority to give the Gracie Bullyproof program to another family who is suffering from bullying.
